This article explains how to insert a module within the content in Joomla 1.5. This method is very much useful when we need to insert a particular module inside the post content. By default each module needs to be associated with the positions specified/available in a template.

“loadposition” Constant in Joomla

Using the “loadposition” constant, it is possible to load any modules within the content. The syntax to use this constant is as follows:

{loadposition positionname}

NOTE: “positionname” is the position defined for the module.

How to insert a module within the content

Step1:
Go to Extensions >> Module Manager and create a new module or choose any of the existing modules which needs to be inserted within the content.

Edit joomla Module

Step2:
Open the module you want to insert and click inside the select box of “position” in the Details section. You can see, it is editable select box. Now you just type-in a new position name inside the select box. Eg: “myNewPosition”.  Now you may just “save” it and close.
